services / devops / cloud infrastructure

Cloud sized for what you run — not what a partner tier rewards

We architect and manage infrastructure on AWS, DigitalOcean, Hetzner and UK/EU providers, chosen on cost and data-residency merit. No vendor kickbacks shaping the recommendation, no fleet of idle instances padding a bill nobody reads.

the work

Infrastructure work we take on

Architecture & setup

Environments designed for your actual load and growth — compute, databases, storage, networking — documented as code (Terraform) so nothing lives only in someone's head.

Cost audits

A fixed-price review of your current cloud bill. Most audits find 20–40% of spend doing nothing — oversized instances, forgotten volumes, traffic priced on the wrong tier.

UK/EU data residency

Region and provider choices made deliberately for GDPR and procurement requirements — with the documentation to prove it in a compliance questionnaire.

Scaling that's earned

Autoscaling, load balancing and CDN where traffic justifies them — and a plain "one well-tuned server, monitored" where it doesn't. Complexity is a cost too.

Ongoing management

Patching, monitoring, capacity and cost watched monthly under a retainer — infrastructure as a solved problem, not a lurking one.

Your account, always

Everything runs in cloud accounts you own, with our access revocable in one click. Leaving us should be easy; that's what keeps us sharp.

Common questions

AWS or something simpler?

AWS when its services genuinely earn their complexity; DigitalOcean or Hetzner when a fraction of the price does the same job. The honest answer for most mid-size workloads is "simpler than you've been told".

Can you take over infrastructure someone else built?

Yes — we map it, document it, bring it under code and monitoring, then improve incrementally. No forced migrations to justify our existence.

What does this cost?

Cost audits are fixed-price from £750 (often self-funding within months). Architecture projects are quoted from scope; ongoing management typically £150–£500/month depending on estate size.
