Ready for the traffic you're hoping for

The campaign lands, the newsletter goes out, the product launches — and the site slows to a crawl at the exact moment it matters most. Infrastructure performance is preparation: caching layers, tuned databases and load handling, measured against real traffic before the day that counts.

the work

Where the speed comes from

Caching layers

Page, object and opcode caching configured for how your application actually behaves — the difference between a server that folds at 50 concurrent users and one that shrugs at 5,000.

CDN setup

Static assets and cacheable pages served from edge locations — faster for every visitor, and your origin server freed to do only the work that's genuinely dynamic.

Database tuning

Slow-query analysis, indexing, connection handling — the database is the bottleneck more often than the server, and it's fixable with evidence rather than hardware.

Load testing

Simulated traffic against staging before your big day — so capacity is a number you know, not a guess you're betting the launch on.

Launch & campaign cover

Resources scaled ahead of planned spikes, monitoring watched during the event, scaled back after — paying for burst capacity only when you need it.

Application-level handoff

When measurement shows the code itself is the bottleneck, it becomes a precise brief for our WordPress or application teams — same company, no finger-pointing.

Common questions

Do we need a bigger server or a better setup?

Measurement answers that in a day — and it's usually the setup. Throwing hardware at an untuned stack rents you time and doubles your bill; we quote the tuning first.

We have a big launch in three weeks. Enough time?

Usually — caching and CDN wins land fast, and load testing tells us where the ceiling is. Tell us the date; we'll be honest about what's achievable before it.

What does it cost?

A measured performance review is fixed-price from £500; implementation is quoted from its findings. Launch cover is priced per event — and cheap against a launch-day outage.
