Both app stores. One codebase. No compromise that matters.
React Native + Expo lets one engineering effort ship to iPhone and Android together — native look and feel on each, a single codebase to maintain, and over-the-air updates that fix eligible bugs in hours instead of store-review days. It's how most apps should be built, and we'll tell you when yours is the exception.
Apps we take on
Consumer apps
Booking, ordering, loyalty and content apps — polished to both platforms' conventions, because iPhone users notice Android-shaped buttons and vice versa.
Customer portal apps
Your web portal's jobs — accounts, documents, bookings, payments — in a pocket-sized channel with push notifications doing the remembering.
Field-team tools
Job sheets, inspections, signatures and photos for teams who work where the WiFi isn't — offline-first, syncing when coverage returns.
Ordering & commerce
Product browsing to payment in-app, tied into your store or ERP — with the checkout polish that mobile conversion lives and dies on.
MVP apps for startups
The mobile counterpart of our SaaS & MVP work: scope cut honestly, shipped to both stores, ready to learn from real users.
TV apps
React Native reaches the living room too: Apple TV and Android TV apps from the same codebase — for content platforms, dashboards on office screens, and products whose users lean back.
Apps with backends
Most apps need a server side. We build both halves together — see app + backend packages.
When React Native isn't the answer
Heavy 3D games, cutting-edge AR, or apps built around a single platform's newest APIs — those genuinely want native Swift or Kotlin, and we'll refer you honestly. And sometimes the answer is no app at all: if your users wouldn't install it, a fast mobile web experience serves them better for a fraction of the cost. That's a cheaper conversation to have before the build than after.
Common questions
Does React Native feel native?
Built properly, yes — it renders real native components, not a website in a wrapper. Instagram, Discord and Shopify ship React Native at massive scale; your users won't be the ones to notice.
What do over-the-air updates mean for us?
Eligible fixes and content changes ship directly to installed apps within hours, skipping store review. Native-level changes still go through the stores — we manage both pipelines under an app care plan.
What does an app cost?
A focused v1 — one core job, both platforms, backend included — typically runs £15,000–£35,000. We'll also say plainly if your idea is a mobile-friendly website wearing an app costume; that's a much cheaper build.
What should your app do — for whom?
One paragraph is plenty. A developer replies with honest first thoughts on scope, feasibility and rough numbers, usually the same day.
