services / mobile / app + backend

An app is half a product. We build the whole thing.

Every serious app stands on a server side: the API, the database, the admin panel, the notification pipeline. Many "app agencies" quietly subcontract that half — which is where reliability goes to die. We build both halves in-house, designed together, shipped together, maintained together.

the package

What "whole product" includes

The app itself

React Native + Expo for both stores — everything on our React Native apps page, as the visible half of the package.

Laravel API

The server brain: business logic, data, integrations — documented endpoints the app consumes and any future frontend can too.

Admin panel

Your team's window into the product: users, content, orders and support lookups — because "email the developer to check the database" doesn't scale past week one.

Authentication done right

Sign-up, social and SSO logins, password recovery, session security across devices — solved with mature tooling, not reinvented with fresh mistakes.

Push & messaging pipeline

Notifications that arrive, segmented and scheduled, with deep links into the right screen — and the analytics to know they're helping rather than annoying.

Payments & subscriptions

Stripe and in-app purchases handled correctly — including the store-commission rules that decide which purchases must go through Apple and Google, and which shouldn't.

// why one team

The gap between app and backend is where products fail

Split the halves across companies and every bug becomes a negotiation: the app blames the API, the API blames the app, and you pay for the meeting where they argue. One team designing both means the API is shaped for the app's real needs, changes land in lockstep, offline behaviour is planned rather than patched — and when something breaks at 9pm, one phone number owns it.

faq

Common questions

We already have systems the app must talk to. Still a package?

Yes — the Laravel layer becomes the bridge between your existing CRM, ERP or database and the app. If your systems can carry more of the load, the package shrinks and so does the quote. See also companion apps.

Who hosts and runs the backend?

Your accounts, our management if you want it — the same DevOps discipline as everything we run: monitored, backed up, CI/CD from day one. The Evolve care plan covers app and backend as one product.

What does the package cost?

A focused v1 of the full product typically runs £15,000–£35,000; complex products beyond. One quote covers both halves — no surprise second invoice for the server side.
